Meetings and Events
Delano Recovery Center would like to recommend that anyone going through drug addiction seek help through a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. Individuals facing present or past addiction will find the meetings to be helpful and informative. All our patients in aftercare are encouraged to attend.
Meetings provide a safe environment. It is a place where people going through treatment can get support. This an important part of the 12-step process. The meetings listed are “open” for both members and non-members. All meetings are free to attend.
Being nervous at your first NA meeting is normal. We promise you will be welcomed with open arms. Each meeting will vary slightly but usually follows a basic format. We encourage you to attend. You will find one where you feel most comfortable.
Here are a few upcoming NA meetings coming in the Delano area.
- Burning Desire – Garces Hwy and Oxford Street
When: Monday, January at 8:00 pm.
- VFW Memorial Building – 1025 Garces Highway
When: Every Thursday at 8:00 pm.
If you are unable to attend the meetings in Delano, there are several options in Bakersfield.
- Crossroads – 1200 1st Street
When: Every Monday and Tuesday at 6:00 pm.
- Central Church of Christ – 425 South H Street
When: Every Wednesday at noon and 7:00 pm
- Saint Vincent DePaul Church – 316 Baker Street
When: Every Monday at 6:00 pm or every Tuesday at 6:00 and 7:30 pm
- First United Methodist Church – 4600 Stockdale Highway
When: Every Tuesday at 8:00 pm
- Crossroads to Recovery – 201 East Brundage Lane
When: Every Monday at 8:00 p.m., every Tuesday at 7:00 pm, every Saturday at 7:30 pm
